I've been playing around some more with the bobble texture.. I saw a cute knitted hat the other day that inspired this button tab design.

ok, this was actually my first try at the cluster stitch beret, but I used a 5 mm hook and wasn't happy with the size of the crown or the drape of the fabric.. too firm for a beret, not slouchy enough. instead, I doubled up the yarn to stitch a bill and made it a newsboy cap! I love the texture of this stitch!

This is one of my most popular styles at Pike Place Market, it looks really cute on everyone! I like to use grosgrain ribbon but satin or velvet looks really cute, too!
