This aviator style (longer in back for extra warmth) earflap cap is crocheted in your choice of heavy worsted weight wool or acrylic yarns, shown here in Red Heart Super Saver Camouflage and Black. A popular style with skaters and snowboarders, it fits men and women ages teen to adult.

Another edging and embellishment option for the cloche design, I call it "pie crust" I was thinking about possible ways to use small amounts of handspun yarns.. if only.. *sigh*



I usually use neutral colors when working with prototypes, but you can try to imagine your favorite colors and yarns as substitute for these shown. These are made using heavy worsted weight yarn and 5.5 mm (US size I) hook.
